Welcome to Sunny's Diner! We're a podcast covering the BioWare MMO, Star Wars: The Old Republic. Hosted by Sunny Ravencourt and Radicool, Sunny's Diner is specifically geared towards the casual gamer.
Ok. This is as "inside baseball" as it gets for the Diner. In the SWTOR fansite world, tempers flared and heated opinions were exchanged regarding Bioware's second Fansite Summit (SWTOUR). Our name was mentioned a few times. We felt that we owed it to all of you to provide our opinions and responses. Here it is. It's not a normal episode, but we'll serve up a proper meal next week. For now this had to be addressed. Enjoy.

I won’t get too far into my own thoughts on the subject, but I will say that I think there were quite a few statements that did not come across as intended on all sides of the issue. I’m hoping everyone can take a step back and realize how silly some reactions truly came across. Again, on all sides. This is not something that should bring any kind of divide to this fan and fansite community. It is far too rich and full of friendly comraderie…it would really be a shame to see any rifts form. I’ve never before been a part of something with this large and passionate a base, and I’d really hate for there to be any lasting negative effects come out of this one situation.
Enough of the uber-srs-bznss tho!!
As for your doggy-bag question….I’d have to say the angriest I’ve ever been at a video game was in the original Battletoads. I wasted so much of my childhood on levels 1-3 of that game, it’s ridiculous. I’m still convinced that they’re made to be unbeatable. Not to mention that you only get a very small number of lives before you have to start at level 1 again. I think it’s the only game that ever made me seriously think about smashing my Nintendo.
I still twitch everytime I see that game cartridge….seriously. lol
