Belath’s How do I get my social fix? thread

A lot about this game has been revealed, painfully slowly. These bits of information tease me and get me more and more pumped for the preorder season and release dates.... Gonna play it, no doubt! Problem... I haven't seen anything that shows me what the social side of this game will be, beyond group combat. One of the major draws another star wars mmo had for me and most of the people I played with was that a major focus of the game was the social end. I would log in just to hang out with people some days. Other players would perform, giving ability enhancements and heals while they entertained a large crowds. It was absolutely AWESOME... I also found that building guilds and towns was another amazing social experience... The question I would as is how will there be a push toward interaction with other players? Will we be encouraged to hang out in cantinas or some other places?
